Physical DescriptionA human man in his thirties or forties, dark hair drawn back into a short tail with loose strands at the temples, a neat dark beard and moustache, a strong straight nose and dark level eyes. He dresses as a privateer captain: a deep blue coat faced with brown leather and a double row of heavy brass buttons, an ornate gilded pauldron worked with an anchor motif on one shoulder, wide turned-back cuffs studded in brass, a white shirt open at the chest and an oxblood sash at the waist over several broad buckled belts. A sabre with a gilded basket hilt is thrust through the belt at his front, a small strapped case rides one hip, a skull-and-crossbones medallion hangs from the belt, and rings crowd one hand. A grey-blue falcon in a small red collar rides his shoulder.

About this record: art and source provenance, discrepancies

Dies during the ch-01 voyage; the party makes landfall at Brightport under Kate. His death is the hinge for Kate's promotion and her long run as the campaign's ship captain. Race/gender/class confirmed 2026-08-22 from two sources that agree: the h-141 'Path to Arla NPC_s Info.csv' and 'After Terek_s Folly/People/Character Grid.csv' (River Empire, Human, Rogue, M). race was previously "Unknown". The 'Drunken Maiden' is the Building column in the NPC CSV, i.e. where he was met at Trayalon Port — a dockside establishment, NOT the name of his ship. No entity for it. His ship is never named in the sources. physicalDescription was read off the existing art, not invented. The shoulder falcon and the anchor-worked pauldron are that image's details rather than anything the text states.
