About this record: art and source provenance, discrepanciesRETYPED 2026-08-02 from a location stub. NOTE: `149-parverean-empire` is a second stub for the same polity and should be folded in during the h-149 pass. The fall, per the h-172 sources: Blackblade Tribe assassins and thieves were sent to kill Xut-Doon and steal the holy artifacts of power. Only the God King's power together with help from Indar preserved the Empire at all β but the orcs escaped with powerful artifacts and Xut-Doon was wounded. Without his full power the rains failed. Within a few years many openly questioned him. Challengers rose and were crushed with merciless efficiency. When Indar left Parverea for parts unknown, Xut-Doon could no longer keep the peace and each province claimed independence. Zubayr became a political warzone crowded with the poor and starving. Xut-Doon ordered his temple guard to purge all opposition from the city β the first temple wars β and later decreed a second purge. The God King is identified in `PilotStar/Diety Grid.csv` as **Zashiek Flamebringer**, whose grid note reads 'Xut-Doon and Parverea'.
