The Cassius Guild ran a secret project at the New Resish summoners' school to trap Fen (trap the soul) and grow a cloned body to fight for the Guild — if Fen touches the orb he is cloned and trapped; he can be re-summoned, but the clone retains part of his soul. The Guild adapted Hesh artifacts from their vaults once used to trap the essence of dangerous summoner creatures. The corrupted duplicate is called 'Dark Fen' and attacks the party from the Great Hall.
