About this record: art and source provenance, discrepanciesFERRUM IS A DOOMGUARD who gave up his original quest after being proven wrong. He now wanders looking for instances of elvish technology being used against the pact. This is direct corroboration of what the h-335 party would later be told: Harlow Stormmaster holds that each Doomguard carries its own prophecy of the world's end and works to prevent that particular future, and Prince Vesion states flatly that the Doomguards are not a unified force with a single agenda. Ferrum is a documented case of one abandoning his purpose. He came to the Crown Peaks after hearing rumours the vault had been opened, and inspects the vault and the well. He killed the Blazing Hood dwarves' defenders, who had come to prevent the plane from being formed — which is why the Blazing Hood are angry in the campaign's loose ends. If Torian does not assume the mantle of Helmar, Ferrum does.
