Aliana Dawn

CharacterNPCPilotStarwizard-warlegends-of-the-northelfsanctuaryallygunsmithcross-campaign

Elvish master gunsmith of Dawncrest and one of the few remaining elves who remembered the lost arts of building and maintaining the weapons that serve the royal line. She spent years teaching that art to Prince Vesion Skycaller. Convicted of treason by the council of elders for sharing elvish weapon technology with a colony of dwarves and elves in the eastern mountains β€” she believed the elves should take a larger role in the world. Her conviction, and Vesion's refusal to arrest her, cost the Skycaller family the throne of Dawncrest. Now his wife and research partner; together they maintain a laboratory in the Sanctuary Plane. Granted citizenship of Drakarnia by royal decree.

Record Notes

About this record: art and source provenance, discrepancies

MERGED 2026-08-01: the bare importer stub `172-aliana` was the same person and has been deleted. CORRECTION 2026-08-01: the Starfall Saga has Lloyd record that Vesion loved 'a woman who was not of the Dawncrest elves.' The h-172 source contradicts this β€” Aliana Dawn was an elf of Dawncrest and its master gunsmith. Lloyd was hearing a condensed travel narrative; prefer the h-172 account. Captured at Greyrock by Baron Heftin's forces and taken across the ocean to the west; the same attack cost Vesion most of his memory, and Dawncrest believed them both dead. As of h-335 the Moonguard are still hunting 'the exiled Prince Vesion and his presumed wife Aliana Dawn' (0335-19 Tarton). Arrived in Starfall within days of Vesion, brought through a planar anchor at North Fringe on the western continent. Alias recorded 2026-08-04 during the campaign-wide character sweep: the campaign sources use this variant spelling for the same person.
