BackgroundArrived in the NorthFringe region approximately 26 years before h-142 (the 'screaming comet' — a ghost streaking from the south to the Twisted Crown Peaks). Spent decades terrorising the NorthFringe, destroying any settlement that came too close. Captures useful individuals — held a prisoner for years who helped her better command undead for tasks. She tested him by having him chain a dragon; he succeeded. The prisoner left hidden journals throughout the Hesh caves warning about her and describing the twin statue collapse mechanism. She draws power from Nyx (goddess of death), as does Niko Northen — but with opposite intent.

Campaign Notes

Because the ceremony is incomplete she will die of old age without finishing it. She cannot be killed with simple weapons — this is written in Draconic on the cave wall. The twin statue collapse mechanism in the Hesh caves is the intended way to deal with her: pulling both lever-weapons simultaneously triggers a full collapse. Her cat appeared in session 3 without its master, implying a minion of hers had been killed by that point.
