His arc is a descent into madness triggered by undead visions and survivor guilt — the character who 'saw purpose through a portal' with an undead-related vision. Surname from an in-world monument (evidence, not authorial canon): a grave marker outside Nico's Tomb, encountered in the Legends of the North campaign (h-172, ch-02 'The Paladin'), reads — 'Addot Leadhand and Garkirk Fogtaker. Allies and friends. Selfless heroes that sacrificed to defeat Nico Northern, the vile necromancer that plagued this land. Though they knew no rest in this life, may their souls find peace in Targol's eternal realm. -141 CE' The DM's ch-02 prompt, verbatim: 'You feel vindicated in your belief that the undead horde is building up... but you wonder at the cost of your family you abandoned back home.'

DM TODO: confirm Addot's class — it remains unconfirmed, and no signature, ceremonial, or magical gear is recorded for him anywhere. Race confirmed Human on 2026-08-01 (previously Unknown). His name 'Addot' appears explicitly in the ch-02 session notes. The player attribution is carried by the `player` field. Open discrepancies for the DM to resolve: (1) the monument implies Addot died, while this record still carries status 'active' with no death year — left unchanged deliberately, since '141 CE' does not obviously map to an h-year and the inscription is in-world testimony rather than authorial voice; (2) the h-142 sources spell the necromancer 'Niko Northen' while the monument reads 'Nico Northern'; (3) Garkirk Fogtaker, named alongside him as an ally, has no character entity yet. Appearance gaps: nothing about his build, hair, face, or age is recorded in any source. The 2026-08-01 portrait prompt rendered him as a man in his mid-thirties with short dark hair — rendering choices, not canon. That portrait shows his ch-01 arrival state (clear-eyed, before the ch-02 descent) at the user's direction.
