Summary
The party kills the military skyship's command crew and clears its heavily defended lower decks. The captured warship provides the supplies, navigation, and credible military identity needed for the final approach to Naa's floating capital.
Detailed Narrative
The party completes the takeover of the intercepted Nardic military skyship. A brief attempt at deception on the bridge gives way to direct action; the captain and command fighters are killed and the party takes control of the upper command areas.
They then conduct a systematic sweep of the lower decks. The military ship carries much more dangerous equipment than the civilian craft: heavily armed soldiers, alchemical/war constructs, spider-like or fire-capable machines, and an elite armored/tank-like enemy. The party uses a combination of surprise, summoned allies, theft/disarm tactics, and concentrated violence to clear the vessel.
The important strategic result is not the individual combat victories but the acquisition of a recognizably military craft with navigation, supplies, and a plausible route toward the floating capital. The group salvages useful weapons and stores while keeping the ship functional enough to continue.
The commercial ship is no longer needed. The party now has the best cover it has possessed since arriving on Naa: a vessel that belongs in restricted military airspace.
After the fighting, the group rests and prepares for the final approach. There is a long real-world holiday hiatus after this recording, but the in-world plan is directβfly the captured military ship to the capital, locate the Naa-side Project Sunrise installation, rescue Medina/Estera if still possible, and destroy the bridge after securing a way home.
