Crystal Spire

towerstructureterekhesh-empireworld-wardensnexus-coastrune-crystal

When Terek the Redeemer ascended to godhood, he bound his plane to the material along the Nexus Coast. At the intersection of the planes in the Nexus, Terek defeated the Nexus guardian Raif Stromwall and then built his own massive towering bastion to guard the location. Terek used his Rune Crystal technology to both forge and power the tower, which hangs in the air suspended some 500 feet above the coastal beaches. The imposing tower quickly became a symbol of Terek's might as well as the rallying cry for all World Wardens who would become his followers. From the Crystal Spire, Terek conducted his magical research, held court with other gods, and oversaw the progress of the Hesh Empire, acting as both benefactor and benevolent advisor. The other World Wardens refrained from interfering beyond their polite attempts to convince Terek to change his course of action. Beneath the Crystal Spire, the City of Lights was established as World Wardens and others flocked to Terek's cause, sometimes even across planes of existence. The City of Lights became the capital of the young Hesh Empire, and the city itself grew to become one of the greatest marvels the world has ever seen.

About this record: art and source provenance, discrepancies

Imported 2026-08-10. CAUTION: the source filename prefix is 1490, but the doc describes Terek's ascension and the founding of the Hesh Empire, which is Before Terek's Folly. The prefix does not reconcile with the h-year calendar used elsewhere and no founding year has been asserted here.
