Headwater Fiefdom

Formed as a splinter faction that rebelled from Sylmaris and won recognition through determination and cunning — damming the Mithril River to force negotiation helped. Chiefly rugged dwelves, though the ruling family is some mix of human and orc: feisty and quick to anger, quick to forgive, and as committed to education as any barony. Headwater will only be granted the title of Barony once self-governed for 150 years, a probation expiring in two years; until then the name Fiefdom stands as a reminder of subservience.
