Physical DescriptionDevices created by an ancient civilization that fell at least 2,000 years prior to Terek's Folly, combining the magical and technological advances of that society. They were made to be a permanent record of their people.
Each startube has a general purpose and is roughly the equivalent of any single book in a library. While most surviving startubes are nonfiction, made for teaching and historical purposes, some that survived served more mundane ends — namely entertainment.
