Red Shield Navy

Commanded by the Grand Admiral and far more active domestically than the Army — guarding the Bay of Gold, the Aurean Sea and the Southern Sea against pirates and patrolling the Gold and Petric rivers. Six ships of the line, fourteen frigates and sloops, fifty-one river patrol craft. Considered sub-par to the boats run out of Arla; the GRE's Grand Admiral looks down on it, and the 'Grand' is generally dropped when GRE officers address Red Shield's Admiral.
