Grown out of the Windhill Academy of Magic and funded initially by the Atonce family and the Redray Barony with aid from the other barons; today funded by tuition, endowments and the sale of research output. Many students graduate owing huge sums and spend years as indentured servants producing scrolls, potions and wands for the school to sell. Best known for magical training and research, but it houses liberal arts, fine arts, practical arts and sciences including metallurgy, astronomy, archaeology and medicine.
