She wears layered robes of deep green and gold — a heavy fur-lined overrobe with wide embroidered gold bands, a gold-figured mantle pinned at one shoulder with an ornate clasp — over a dark underdress, with gold chains at the throat and a long gold chain falling from the waist. She holds an open book in both hands, held comfortably, as though mid-reference rather than mid-ritual. Note that the grid records no description for her, so this is the art's reading rather than a written canon.

Encountered in the City of Lights vision (ch-09). Hesh High Noble and god of Magic. Updates 2026-08-04 (portrait research). THE GRID GIVES NO DESCRIPTION for Salena Trist — the Description and Favored Weapon columns are both blank. Everything visual comes from art, and there is no PilotStar/Gods/ file for her. HER ART IS DOUBLE-MISFILED. images/Salena.jpg sits in the flat image root, so processEntityImages slugified it and guessed its type from the filename — landing it at web/public/images/entities/character/salena.webp. Two things are wrong with that: it is filed under CHARACTER when she is a DEITY, and the key 'salena' matches none of her candidate keys, which are 'salenatrist' from both her id and her display name. The result is that her art resolves to nothing at all, and simultaneously occupies a character key that belongs to no character. Fix is a card at images/gods/cards/salena-trist.png. ATTRIBUTION CAVEAT — Salena.jpg is assumed to depict her on the strength of the filename and the absence of any other Salena in the repo. It shows a scholarly older noblewoman with a book, which suits a goddess of Magic, but it does not obviously match the grand Hesh High Noble register established for Helmar, Rayne, Nyx, Onyx and Sorin in their study sheets. Worth confirming before it is treated as settled. NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH SELENA MOON — a separate character in Kingdoms and Clouds (h-149), listed in 0149-13 Hot Winds/13_Characters.csv alongside Killian, Yolich and Marshal Adair. The art at images/0149-kingdoms-and-clouds-lightwatch-and-macklot/Selena.jpg is hers, not Salena Trist's. Selena Moon has no character entity. DISTINCT FROM deity/unnamed-magic-deity.json — that record is the grid's OTHER Magic/Major entry, which survived Terek's Folly and has a following among wizards and sorcerors. It already documents the distinction correctly. Its publicDescription is still importer placeholder text.
