Hesh High Noble of the City of Lights and a minor god of Chaos, chaotic neutral in temper. He did not survive Terek's Folly, but he is not forgotten: his initiates persist at Mountainfoot β Jokx, Tyrt, Jiegs, Prang, Wehalb and Pak β a warband who seek battle, mark their armour afresh each day, and work to bring about his second coming. A temple to him still stands in a deep cavern far to the south, a small shrine on an island of rock, and followers of Rysen turn up in the histories long after his death.

Record Notes
About this record: art and source provenance, discrepanciesEncountered in the City of Lights vision (ch-09). Hesh High Noble. His 'initiates' β Jokx, Tyrt, Jiegs, Prang, Wehalb, and Pak β are encountered at Mountainfoot (ch-11). Updates 2026-08-02 (portrait research). APPEARANCE IS UNRECORDED β the grid Description column is blank, there is no PilotStar/Gods/ file for Rysen at all, and no study sheet in images/gods/studies/. Only his Maker's Mark exists. Anything visual is extrapolation; see avatarDescription, which states its basis explicitly. SOURCE DETAIL β 141_Path to Arla NPC_s Info.csv records him as: City of Lights, Hesh, Hesh High Noble, Citadel, male. The Path to Arla Notes.md fragment on his initiates reads 'We seek battle', 'Hunt down Jokx -> demands his blood', 'Ears and teeth and necklace', 'Mark their armor each day', and 'Libraries Rysen - bring about his second coming'. All six initiates have character entities and are now linked. TEMPLE β a Temple of Rysen appears in the Brave New World campaign (h-282). The two VTT battlemaps images/0282-brave-new-world-silver-edge-magical-kids/templeOfRysenBefore.jpg and templeOfRysen.jpg show it as a small square shrine with corner pillars standing on an island of rock in a large dark cavern, lit by lava fissures around the walls; in the 'after' map the cavern floor has flooded with a yellow-green liquid, leaving the shrine platform just above the surface. The campaign was added to campaigns[] on that basis. No location entity exists for the temple itself. A follower of Rysen named MERRIC appears in the Founding of Trayalon writeup (h-109) as one of Torek's allies, alongside Blackfist, Sylar and Char β evidence his cult outlived him by a long way. Merric has no character entity. Not added to campaigns[], since this is a follower's appearance rather than the god's. Art: no portrait anywhere as of 2026-08-02, only the mark, which is unpublished β processGodImages in web/scripts/optimize-images.mjs reads only images/gods/studies/. Pending card: images/gods/cards/rysen.png.
