Hesh High Noble who ascended to godhood, and founder of the Brightborn. He protects those who cannot protect themselves, and asks no worship — only that the innocent be kept safe and the powerful be held to account. He keeps no formal hierarchy and works through his resurrected paladins: each Brightborn once died defending the helpless, and Rayne raised them, bound them to his will and granted them power. They live long lives, without rank or master, and answer only the call of the weak — often working alone or in isolation, self-organizing by skill and task when they work together at all.
