A senior member of the Dawncrest Moon Guard Council, overseeing the elves' programme to refine Tethis' plague into an independently deployable weapon. Known only by title; his real name has never been recovered. He assessed that a mass bloom in Starfall could destabilise the city without a military assault, and contracted the Black Cabal against Starfall's leadership.

About this record: art and source provenance, discrepanciesWrites in a substitution cipher based on elvish astronomical notation, uncrackable without the key — Clarissa surrendered the key freely during her interrogation, so every intercepted Architect communication is now readable. His correspondence is the only source naming the SOLSTICE PROTOCOL, which appears in every message about plague weaponisation and implies a deadline nobody has yet dated. Dawncrest did not create the plague; the Architect's programme refines Tethis' work. He wrote Clarissa off as expendable before her capture — she surrendered without knowing this. Clarissa also places an entity calling itself 'the emissary' at one of his briefings; Tac identified it on description as the Voice of the Nameless.
