Physical DescriptionStands with her hood up and her hands loose at her sides, and does not move — the stillness is the whole of her presence. Plain dark travelling robes beneath a physician's stole whose embroidery has corroded and bloomed with soft gray rot, the fabric stiff and ash-stained at the hem. Her hands are bare and pale gray to the elbows, the veins standing dark just under the surface of the skin, the fingertips bloodless. Her face is drawn and bloodless; her eyes are a flat pale gray, the color of still water gone dead, seen when the hood falls back. A plain heavy iron-headed mace hangs unraised at her hip, and a small sealed glass vial of fine gray ash rests at her breast. She speaks rarely.

DM-facing material moved here out of publicDescription (2026-08-01): she is ch-30's device for putting Tethis' voice on the field without Tethis, and is named as a candidate vessel for Path C if recoverable — see campaigns/0335-wizard-war/campaign-outline.md, open question 18. Stat block (ch-30): Creature 16, unique, NE, Medium, Human, Cleric of Tethis. Signature ability 'Vessel of the Patient Hand' — when reduced to 0 HP she drops to one knee, her hood falls back, and Tethis speaks two sentences through her mouth before she falls. Gear per the stat block: plague-touched stole, +2 striking mace, and ash in a sealed vial; none of the three has an item entity of its own, so they are recorded in physicalDescription. Appearance gaps: age, build, and hair are unrecorded in every source. The 2026-08-01 portrait prompt rendered her as a woman of middle years — unconfirmed, a rendering choice rather than canon. Art: files named helvi_the_silent.jpg / .webp depicted a horned, fanged, armored figure that contradicts every text source (and carried a stablediffusionweb.com watermark).
