Physical DescriptionA towering bipedal wolf, eight to nine feet tall, heavily muscled and covered in thick shaggy fur in charcoal and slate grey, darkest along the spine and heaviest as a ruff at the neck and shoulders and in long fringes down the forearms and lower legs. A true wolf's head — long grey muzzle, black nose, upright pointed ears — with striking amber-orange eyes. His legs are digitigrade, ending in broad clawed paws, and his hands are long and clawed. Fine blue energy crackles across him in thin arcs and filaments, following the limbs and ribs, and a blue EIDOLON SIGIL — a compass-rose star — burns at the centre of his chest. He wears a summoner's harness rather than armour: brown leather straps crossed over the chest and back with bronze buckles and rings, a single engraved bronze pauldron on one shoulder bearing a compass-rose design, bronze bands at the wrists and lower legs, and a belted dark cloth-and-leather kilt hung with a bronze medallion of the same motif on a short chain.

About this record: art and source provenance, discrepancies

Form supplied by the world author: a large bipedal wolf. The Cassius Guild ran a secret project at the New Resish summoners' school to trap Fen (trap the soul) and grow a cloned body to fight for the Guild — if Fen touches the orb he is cloned and trapped; he can be re-summoned, but the clone retains part of his soul. The Guild adapted Hesh artifacts from their vaults once used to trap the essence of dangerous summoner creatures. The corrupted duplicate is called 'Dark Fen' and attacks the party from the Great Hall. Obliterated by Rebecca Cassius at Misha's farm. As an eidolon this banished him to his home plane rather than killing him outright. Nix was told flatly by an elf at Honor Day that Fen is not connected to the elves, contradicting what Nix had been raised to believe; Fen did not contest it. The sheet settles several things the record only gestured at: - SCALE. A labelled Fen-and-human comparison panel puts him at 8–9 ft. That is a hard anchor of the kind docs/templates/character-portrait-generation-guide.md §4 requires, and it should be treated the same way as the existing Fey/Nym, Mac/Tank and Lloyd/Griva scale locks whenever Fen shares a frame with anyone. - THE EIDOLON SIGIL. A blue compass-rose star burning at his chest, given its own detail panel — and the same compass-rose motif repeats on his bronze pauldron and on the medallion at his kilt. It is his mark, not decoration. - Blue energy crackles over him constantly in thin arcs, not as an effect he switches on. - His three recorded expressions are calm alertness, low intent focus, and a baring snarl — a deliberately narrow emotional range for a summoned outsider. ART — the site currently serves the ENTIRE multi-panel study sheet as his character image (web/public/images/entities/character/fen.webp, resolving via the h-year-stripped key 'fen').
