About this record: art and source provenance, discrepanciesCASSIUS THREAD: when she learned about Ren Sawada's projects involving the Forges of Lightwatch, Liza did everything she could to extract magical secrets from her. Ren was distrustful by then, so Liza broke into the underground caverns housing the forges and stole magical knowledge. She succeeded — Ren knew, and feigned ignorance. Liza fled north with what she had taken. She got into real trouble only when she returned later to steal a soul gem from Ren's study. Ren had cursed all soul-trapping gems; when it was used in an attempt to re-create the forges, it pulled the mage's soul into the well. Ren posted a reward for its return and a bounty hunter tracked Liza to Northfringe. Ties the Cassius School thread — central to the h-282 Brave New World campaign — back to h-172.
