BackgroundLed a group of fey-blooded people north, believing the NorthFringe forest was a gift given their fey nature. The forest is indeed magic-touched. They were pursued by undead, giants, skeletons, and ghouls. Their warriors fought to the death; the rest surrendered when unexpectedly given the chance by the Darakhul. Fren observed the Darakhul carefully during captivity: they call themselves that, need life to sustain themselves, but are not uniformly evil. One among them β an Elf Darakhul bearing an Onyx religious symbol β carries authority within the group. Intel: best attack window is at night when only 3-5 Darakhul remain in the caves; they can see far in the dark.

Record Notes
About this record: art and source provenance, discrepanciesThe reference to Arla and to escape in her session notes suggests a connection to the Path to Arla campaign, or at least to the broader Gate War displacement. DM TODO: confirm whether Fren has any named connection to Arla.
