An outsider, not originally of PilotStar, whose original name was Craynoth — 'Pavik Shim' is a name or title taken up after his imprisonment. He was apprehended for trial and imprisoned personally by Terek, and held in the Hesh prison ruins beneath the ancient site of Vadesh. Ambitious and patient, he has spent millennia confined and still pursues godhood; defiant and prideful — 'I will not face the council; the verdict has already been decided.' He means to claim godhood through conquest and to take vengeance on the descendants of those who imprisoned him. The Sparrow and Heartwood Tribes are militaristic and loyal to him.

He seeks to claim godhood by attacking and winning. Tekclif Sol dealt with him. The Gallund and Tretcord families' ancestors, Senious Galland and Roy Tretcord, were among those who apprehended him for trial. His staff crystal resembles the rune crystal seed gifted to Maddie by the Traveller.
