He is perceptive of outsiders and of magical lineage, and speaks Orcish. The Tretcords tied themselves closely to Terek and rose to major nobility on it: his ancestor Roy Tretcord commanded the guard at Reish and operated the Warden's Prisons, and the family are counted among Terek's most trusted. Artemon pursues the truth of that ancient Hesh heritage.
