Detailed NarrativeOnyx: 'Pavik Shim will become a god... except that this particular god has the knowledge of the past... dangerous knowledge to recreate the folly of Terek.' He admits he released the prisoners upon gaining understanding of their bloodline, hunting the secret of creation itself: 'We know so little about Raz and Noc... the first among us... there is a bloodline that is old... it exists in many creatures, but it is unique and appears to have another outside origin.'
He supplies amulets against Pavik's strongest spells, a means to traverse the plane's time pits, and a cracked void sphere — unstable, but enough for a clean break from the plane. He warns that anyone trapped in the prison plane does not come back, and that without the plane bonded the random portals will continue; he needs the gauntlet to bind it.
Personal offers: Artemon learns the first elves came from another plane and that his own power descends from an ancestor who achieved minor godhood. Trankle is offered the secrets of the first Hesh eidolons and the lost magic of teleport, with the warning that his eidolon cannot return if it dies here. Harfur sees where the dwarven workmanship of Onyx's prison is lacking and could repair it with the glove. Maddie is told her bloodline remains an enigma. Harlo is offered longevity, freedom from the Gallund charm, and a place. Finn is told a darkness looms over his family beyond Pavik Shim.
Falleost learns that Rysen may be found — the secrets lie in the Library of Craynoth, which is linked to the library in Ravenclaw and can pass non-living items between them. Brandon Swiftwater is here too, hunting Sorin, and a body: 'I am seeking my body... you haven't seen it anywhere have you?'
